If you have ever posted anything on your Instagram that you even sort of hash-tagged with a sports or fitness related hashtag, you probably have encountered people peddling their homemade body wraps off to you. It includes tummy wraps or belly wraps which are the most famous ones but you can also cover your entire body with these “magic” mixtures.

Now, many of us just assumed that they don’t work because it seems “too easy” to be true.

Don’t knock something before you tried it, however.

DIY Body wrap is a surefire way to rid you inches, detox, nourish your skin, and even remove toxins from your body. The best part is that they work when you are sitting and relaxing home. But, like chocolate without calories, are they too good to be true?

Some are.

Homemade body wraps can be just as effective as, if not more effective than, the ones that you pay top dollar for at the beauty spa, especially if you have realistic goals.

What you will need to make the Body Wraps:
  1. Vitamin E oil
  2. Sea Salt or Freshly Ground Coffee Beans
  3. Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter
  4. Saran Wrap
Instructions:
  • Start by massaging the Vitamin E oil onto your stomach.
  • Then get some saran wrap, wrap your belly tightly.
  • Now it’s time to wait…I waited about 1 1/2 hour before removing my wrap and I probably would not go past 2.
  • After you remove your wrap you will be gross; so grab your sea salt or coffee grounds and hop in the shower/bath. Rinse off your stomach and scrub away the dead skin to buffer your abs.
  • Once you’re out of the shower or bath, dry off and put on a moisturizer of your choice and voila! Compare the results!
